There are lots of great places to visit in Barbados. Here are just a few suggestions:
Harrison's Cave - an underground labyrinth of caves with utterly amazing stalactites and stalagmites. A short informative video is followed by a motorised trip deep into the caves, complete with pools, waterfalls, stalagmites and stalagtites.
Visit an old plantation house - Sunbury House is a good example.
No holiday in Barbados is complete without a trip to the East Coast to see the amazing views and striking scenery. Very little of this coast is safe for swimming though.
The Botanic Gardens are well worth a visit as are Welchman's Gully, the Wildlife Reserve, the Animal Flower Cave, the rum tours, catamaran cruising, Atlantis submarine trips or perhaps a lively trip on the Jolly Roger.
