The Princess Suite at Glitter Bay is named after the two princesses who owned the apartment after it was built in 1979.

During the 1980s and 1990s Glitter Bay became a premier spot on Barbados for those seeking luxury on the exclusive West Coast. Here they were provided with privacy, beauty and landscaped gardens leading down to the white sandy beach and turquoise sea.

The Glitter Bay ownership changed hands during 2004 and work started on the estate to bring it up to standards that the discerning traveller of the 21st century demands.

During 2005/2006 the new owners of the Princess Suite completely renovated the apartment with new floors, walls, ceilings, electrics, plumbing and lighting. They commissioned a leading company on the island to design and provide all the fixtures and furnishings for the apartment using the very best materials available.

This luxury villa holiday is a newly renovated, exquisitely furnished 3 bedroomed penthouse on two floors at Glitter Bay. It consists of a living area with fully fitted Italian kitchen, sumptuous sitting area leading onto an outdoor dining area with bar/fridge and views over superb tropical gardens, pool and the Caribbean sea.

Bedroom one is in Japanese style with a kingsize bed, bathroom with walk-in shower all in marble and large balcony. Bedroom two is in Chinese style with twin four-poster beds, ensuite with large wet-room all in marble, large balcony with superb seaview. Bedroom three, the master suite, is in New England style with superkingsize bed, ensuite bathroom with a large bathtub/shower, balcony with splendid views over the white sandy beach.

All rooms have air-conditioning, ceiling fans, flatscreened TV with satellite-channels & DVD player. The living room is also fitted with a music system, an iPod docking station and wireless internet connection. There is also a utility area with a large washing machine & dryer.

Facilities includes swimming pool, tennis court, beach with private sunbeds & towel service, bar, concierge, watersport, maid & laundress service, safe, American style fridge/freezer, micro-oven , cooker & parking. GlitterBay is one mile from Holetown with all it's restaurants and shops. The Lonestar & Royal Pavillion are next door.

This is a non-smoking suite and children under 12 are not permitted without prior agreement. Please note there is construction in the area.

Rates: The Princess Suite can be rented as 1, 2 or 3 bedrooms. Complimentary car hire is available for a minimum of 1 weeks rental. This does not apply during Christmas or Easter, but during these periods highly competitive rates are available.
